Back then ...

Terry Hannigan is a songwriter. So are Tim Gaze, Lindsay Bjerre, John J. Francis, Peter Howe, Brian Cadd, and G. Wayne Thomas. For the past three months, they have all been looking at footage from "Morning Of The Earth". As the film became tighter the theme began to emerge. Scenes were intercut and pruned and the ideas for the music began to take shape. The film has no commentary. The songs are the statements, the information that the viewer will hear. They are songs of the sun and the moon and the sky and the sea. They are the songs of people and places and ideas. They are songs of freedom and peace and waves. One of Terry's songs sums the whole thing up. It is called "In The End It All Depends On You."

"We are the measure
of all things.
And the beauty of our creation, of our art
is proportional to the beauty of ourselves,
of our souls"
